In the academic Year 2023-2024 Mrs. Noha serves as the Head of the Middle and High School Sections at Dubai International Private School- AlQuoz Br., where academic excellence meets holistic development. With a passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment, she is dedicated to nurturing the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of DIPS students as well as motivating them to reach their academic potential in an inclusive environment.
Professional Background
With a Master’s degree in Science and over 18 years of experience in the education field, Mrs. Noha brings valuable insight to the role. She has accumulated a wealth of experience in different American and British curriculum schools. Over the years she honed sharp teaching skills as she taught in different phases up to university level. During this journey, she had the privilege of working with diverse student populations and implementing innovative educational strategies.
Mrs. Noha has served in different leadership capacities such as Curriculum Coordinator and Science Head of Department, during which she has coached teachers to design and effectively implement project-based and inquiry-based lesson plans using differentiated strategies based on students learning styles and abilities with the aim of improving teaching and learning outcomes.
Mrs. Noha has also coached teachers to design and execute assessments that evaluate students’ knowledge, skills, and conceptual understanding, then developed action plans for improvements accordingly. Innovation and technology integration were consistently at the heart of her approach using various resources and platforms. She has led and contributed to organizing Innovation Fairs and STEM challenges at DIPS and other schools.
As Curriculum Coordinator Mrs. Noha has contributed to planning, evaluating, and revising curricula, course content, course resources and methods of instruction. She led and collaborated with team members in planning and assessing the effectiveness of extracurricular activities, in addition to devising curriculum adaptations based on students’ CAT4, MAP results, and other international exams such as PISSA and TIMSS. Mrs. Noha has consistently prioritized the effective use of triangulated data to determine students’ potential versus their performance and develop action plans accordingly. She has conducted several and various Professional Development sessions for teachers to elevate the teaching and learning process and monitored the effectiveness of coaching through lesson observations to evaluate its impact on students’ outcomes.
Mrs. Noha also serves as the school’s College Board Advanced Placement Exam coordinator. She facilitates the authorization of DIPS Al Quoz AP Teachers by the College Board as well as auditing the content of AP courses content to ensure their full alignment with the College Board standards and requirements, in addition to organizing and administering the Advanced Placement courses examinations as DIPS- AlQuoz branch is an authorized AP exams center.
